Nick Katie and Lexi: oh no!!! 5 weeks!

I completely forgot to post something for last week. Here's a quick little update on Alexis before I get her all packed up for our weekend get away to Lake Mead.

Last week, we took Alexis in the pool for the first time and she LOVES it. When I say she loves it, I don't think even I understood how much she does. She has been so cranky lately and fights her sleep (thanks to thrush, a diaper rash, and goopy eyes!!) and the ONLY thing that will make her a happy baby again is putting her in her little swim suits and putting her in the water.

Here are a few pictures from that. Will hopefully get some good pictures this weekend!! especially one of her in her little life jacket... it's just ridiculous!! It's so big on her!!

I love her smiles. I know I'm a little biased, but this is one cute baby!! :)

If she knew how to laugh, I'm pretty sure she'd have the biggest belly laugh to accompany her smiles when I put her above my head then make her splash the water.
